Then try to survive spring training for a shot at playing your favorite position for your favorite team. Maybe I'm just pressing something on accident, but if it is a glitch, it's a freakin big one. Warning to newbies: the game manual is flippin terrible! There is a lot to learn before this game can get really fun so if this is your first foray into a sports game then be prepared to spend a few hours getting spanked by the AI. For example, it is fairly difficult to throw a shutout with an average pitcher like Tim Wakefield but not as hard to throw with an elite pitcher like Roy Oswalt. Overall, great game, pretty addictive.

Don't listen to the other reviews which speak of losing points if you dont train everyday.
You will be lost if you don't know what the different onscreen indicators mean. Umpires are inconsistent and drive you crazy just like in real life, your pitches won't always hit the exact mark, it adds alot of excitement to close games. The "road to the show" feature is phenomenal.

the game itself is a servicable baseball game plays well, the new road to the show feature is incredibly addictive! So this game is an OK upgrade from MLB 06. It's probably the slowest game I own for my PSP but once you're on deck things move pretty quickly.
